First, when a client contacts ISE for a design request, we will meet with them and/or their other professionals to discuss the scope of the design-build project. Here, we’ll explore the needs, budget, and timeline for project start and completion. Our team will collect any pertinent information and documentation that will assist us in determining realistic expectations. We often conduct site visits to get a full understanding of the existing conditions of the location and application of the build. We take the time to fully understand our client’s needs and then guide them through the most logical options for them to best achieve the envisioned end result.
After initial consultation, our in-house engineers work with the design team to develop a solution that meets the requirements and expectations for the project while maintaining compliance with all applicable building codes. Our team utilizes an advanced suite of software such as Staad, Tekla, AutoCAD, & Blue Beam to analyze the design and create professional structural drawings for both permit application and construction use. Our engineering capabilities allow us to change, modify, or delete many challenges that arise during the design-build process. ISE is not simply a reactive structural steel fabricator and designer – when we encounter problems with the initial design that could cost our clients undue time or begin to drain their budget, we work quickly to pivot to a more effective solution and present it for approval. We have the depth of experience to tackle challenges in both design and construction alike, often using our experience in one to help with a solution for the other. Once a design is approved by the client, Industrial Services Enterprise’s structural steel fabrication team in Rockaway, NJ will begin creating the product. We keep the client updated on important progress milestones, ensuring clear communication and managed expectations for stakeholders and other trades on the project. Upon completion of structural steel fabrication, delivery of the product will be scheduled along with the installation and construction of ISE’s portion of the project. Our skilled team has over 50 years of experience erecting all types of steel applications, and installation by ISE crews helps maintain continuity and quality control throughout the process.
Once delivery and installation of ISE’s structural steel for the project is completed, we coordinate a final inspection by a third-party authority to ensure structural integrity and safety. In the instance where changes are needed for approval or client satisfaction, we will work to make sure the deliverables are perfect and up to the standards of the client and all permitting bodies. After the stamp of approval is given, the remainder of the trades are set to begin completing their work on the project. ISE considers a project successful if the client has their expectations exceeded, whether in the quality of steel and workmanship, timeliness, or value.
